Chrysalis Surgery was founded in 2026 with a single, clear conviction: transgender and non-binary adults deserve a practice built entirely around them — not a generalist clinic that fits gender-affirming care between other procedures, but a specialist team whose entire focus, every day, is the work of helping people live in bodies that feel like their own. That conviction shaped every decision made in building this practice, from the surgeons we brought together to the quiet, private setting we chose in Beverly Hills — a boutique environment where your care is never rushed, never fragmented, and never shared with a waiting room full of patients whose needs have nothing to do with yours.
At the center of Chrysalis is Dr. David N. Sayah, MD, a board-certified plastic surgeon credentialed by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a published researcher with 26 years of surgical experience. Dr. Sayah did not pivot into gender-affirming surgery as an add-on specialty. He built this practice around it — and he built a team that shares that same singular focus. Every surgeon at Chrysalis specializes specifically in gender-affirming procedures. There are no generalists here.
